Using the Amerigo Vespucci bridge in Florence, Italy as a site, and the Ponte Vecchio as a precedent, this project entailed designing a classroom within a 30'x30'x30' cube. The classroom had strict square footage requirements and was designed using the guiding principles of Maria Montessori's pedagogical philosophies. The classroom was then scaled into a full grade school that would sit on the Vespucci bridge. Professor - Robert McCarter.
